On
16th of this month Ghisingh was forced to leave hills by the
Morcha.News agencies reported that the GNLF chief today said he had been
forced to leave the hills, as he was constantly under threat. Ghisingh’s departure has left the region devoid of any strong opposition to the predominant Gorkha Janmukti Morcha, although a strong opposition is suggested in the current Democratic set up of India.it is clear that Morcha do not want any opposition present in the hills for their vested interest.Morcha wants to stop any voice against them in hills using their muscle power. Now,hills people have to wait and to see what new Cheif Minister of WB is going to do positive for them.Whether, they will be rescued from the severe undemocratic situations of hills or they have to live under the same situation depend upon the positive wishes of next TMC Government of West Bengal.
